No, it's a fantastic game for everyone to enjoy, but it's a PS3 exclusive, hence some 6 and 7/10 scores. Don't pay attention to them. We all know the drill now..
(Almost) all my saved game files are stored on my USB key, so I'm good to go. That said, Demon's souls & Killzone 2 have locked game save files which cannot be copied onto a USB key, Does it mean you can save them on the PS Cloud or what?
Off topic: I think I've just come to realize that your online profile for Killzone 2 (perks n stuff) is actually stored on the servers, like Warhawk, not on your game save file...?
Anyone can confirm?
" and for years PS3 couldn’t keep pace."
Er, say what? For years??? Only in 2006. Maybe 2007 but that's debatable. From there on the PS3 has always been an unstoppable juggernaut onto which Big N & M$ have broken their teeth!
256 players battles, eh?
Once again, PS3 leads the way, as always...
The only time I'm waiting in anticipation for the next Edge issue to be released is when I'm running short of toilet paper.
It's Eurogamer.pt, hence Portugal, the unbiased branch of Eurogamer. They know what's a good game, as opposed to the UK branch.
Mate, if you visit Lens of Truth, you'll think the xbox360 is superior, not just on Crysis 2, but all the time. And you'll be wrong.
Store redesign? I hope it's not a redesign like the JP Store had a couple months ago. That looks worse than ours, now.
However, if they could add mini-reviews for each item, a little "new!" red logo in the corner for stuff that's been recently added, more info (especially for PS1 classics, like what's already on asian stores, like the size of the game, 3 screenshots, and even a gameplay footage in the Preview section, etc.), then, hell yeah.
I tried the demo the other day, well... :(
The graphics look like an xbox/xbox360 game, the art direction is very uninspired (not to say non-existent), the gameplay is extremely dull, with no combos whatsoever. I had been wondering what those games were all about after seeing a few guys on my PSN buddy list play DA1 and, the least I can say is I'm not curious at all anymore about them. Maybe it was just the demo, though...
I hope they won't stop at Uncharted 3 :p
Nobody's asking you
"Story quality?"
"WTF"
"Like this website?"
"No"
I think the youth of America has too much time on their hands, and creating a website to get to play videogames all the day for free isn't a way of putting that time to good use.
Patcher...he should release a patch for himself lol
Killzone 2 & 3 already have.
Sh!t website is sh!t
My god, where will SCE stop? We got GT5 in December, LBP2 in January, Killzone 3 in February, we have MotorStorm Apocalypse in March... gosh, I can't afford all those games, especially not after purchasing my Helghast Edition! XD
Just get Killzone 3 guys
" I can say without a doubt that this is the best-looking first-person shooter to date"
And I can say without a doubt that Killzone 3 is the best-looking first-person shooter to date.
But yeah, you need to have actually played the game from start to finish to know...
Game is a bit meh...for a start, the real-life pinball-like presentation from zen pinball is gone, as well as the close-up view that made you feel like you actually had a real pinball machine before your eyes, the flippers now have a heavy feel that make them unresponsive, and some tunes are uninspired and not suitable to a Marvel-themed pinball, like the Wolverine one.
Still worth a purchase maybe when it's half price, but definitely not as good as zen pinball! By the way, WHEN d...
Nice try, but metacritic isn't an accurate description of the actual quality of a game by itself, because it doesn't take into account many reviews, for very, very questionable reasons. Many 9/10 and 10/10 scores for Killzone 3 and other PS3 exclusives are not there on that metacritic of yours. Gamerankings is a wee bit more accurate, but not quite there yet either.
People like me who own the game and have an absolute blast playing it, all the people that have collect...
